Abstract
Helen McIlroy first came to Cranbrook as a temporary Brookside School employee. From 1931 until her retirement she worked permanently for the Cranbrook Foundation, as the assistant to George Booth and, later, as Henry Scripps Booth's secretary. In these roles, she communicated and worked with all divisions and staff becoming a great source of information.
