Collection Scope From the Collection: The collection consists of materials relating to two Cranbrook artists: Harry Bertoia and Carol Wald. The Harry Bertoia materials contain a small amount of correspondence from Harry Bertoia to the Winkelmans relative to his sculpture “Autumn Whispers”, as well as photographs of the sculpture in the Winkelman’s home. The sculpture itself was donated to the Cranbrook Art Museum. The Carol Wald materials include correspondence, exhibition materials and clippings related to her work.
