Abstract

Cranbrook P.M., a continuing education and outreach program, was founded in 1973 by the Cranbrook School Mother’s Council. The program, which became defunct by the mid-1990s offered a series of evening classes, lectures, seminars, workshops, tours, etc. focusing on the arts, languages, math, music, sports, and the sciences. The collection primarily focuses on the program's curricula, however there is a small amount of material associated with its administrative functions.

Abstract Floyd W. Bunt was born on June 19, 1910, in Toronto, Ontario. After receiving his college degree, he taught at local high schools as well as Pickering College. In 1941 Bunt married Marion Adams of Port Huron, Michigan. The Bunts came to the United States in 1944, and Floyd joined the faculty of Cranbrook School, teaching Chemistry, Engineer Science, and auto mechanics, and serving as faculty advisor for the Rifle Club. Abstract Carl and Annetta Wonnberger were fixtures at Cranbrook for over fifty years, leaving a lasting legacy of teaching excellence at both Cranbrook Schools and the Cranbrook Theatre School. Both were recipients of the Cranbrook Founders Award (Carl in 1965 and Annetta in 1991).
