Abstract Jozsef Sulyok-Papp was born in Hungary in 1895 where he studied art. He moved to Montreal, Canada around 1930 and supported himself as an artist and a gallery dealer. He came to Detroit in the 1940s and for the next 20 years worked for the architectural firm of Giffels.
