Abstract From 1925 to 1927, Curtis attended the Hill School in Birmingham and in September 1927 he became a charter member of Cranbrook School by entering as a first former. He graduated from Cranbrook School in 1933. It was during the summer of 1927 that Curtis met Cranbrook School's first headmaster, William O. Stevens. The Eccentric Newspaper Records

Abstract George H. Mitchell and Almeron Whitehead first published The Birmingham Eccentric on 2 May 1878 in Birmingham, Michigan. The four-page issue was a combination of short personal announcements and advertisements. Although both partners wrote for their paper, Whitehead took on the bulk of the writing duties. Abstract Floyd W. Bunt was born on June 19, 1910, in Toronto, Ontario. After receiving his college degree, he taught at local high schools as well as Pickering College. In 1941 Bunt married Marion Adams of Port Huron, Michigan. The Bunts came to the United States in 1944, and Floyd joined the faculty of Cranbrook School, teaching Chemistry, Engineer Science, and auto mechanics, and serving as faculty advisor for the Rifle Club. Abstract Jeanne (Hargreaves) Graham graduated from Kingswood School in 1957. Her parents, Jeanne Wilson Hargreaves and William B. Hargreaves also graduated from Kingswood and Cranbrook, both in 1935.
